Thank you so much, now that I have the recommendation of the man himself I can truly live up to my title of discount Luke Smith
I've duly stopped watching it on YouTube, and finished the rest of the video over there at #LBRY. My link over there is https://lbry.tv/$/invite/@Franz:8
How often is this updated? You are still shown as #56 with 1081 followers but when I click on your name you have 2867 followers which should put you on #15.
OK, I tried to create an account on LBRY.
They REQUIRE you to have twitter/other SM account, give them your phone number OR credit/debit card info.
Just, no. Fuck that.
"The other six million reasons why I hate Youtube"
When is Not Related coming back, Luke. My formerly big brain has shrunk and shriveled to the size of a nut!
How does Lbry compare to DTube?

Luke I am confused if you are a good Christian man or not
I'm glad lbry is finally getting some attention it deserves. Youtube needs some competition.
My theory of censorship-resistant content sharing networks – if they really worked, they'd be filled with copyrighted material, and porn. Especially bittorrent users would love it if the index and trackers were also censorship resistant. If that isn't the case, something funny is going on
Luke please look into PeerTube, Really wish you would get on there. It baffles me how this was not one of the first things you hopped onto. It's a bit dead as far as uploaders go currently, but they're doing everything right. It needs more content creators to upload to it. It baffles me how Bitchute and LBRY are doing so well, they're really in the end not much different than YouTube. PeerTube is decentralized, it runs on the Fediverse (Anyone can host a server, servers communicate with each other, etc. No one centralized point of power EVER.) I believe you even talked about it like two years back when it was in it's infancy stages and called something else. Please look into it. There is a script someone made that auto uploads Youtube2Peertube when it detects, so maybe that will help you out.

So basicly… LBRY is like DTube.. ? ( https://d.tube/ )
In comparison: DTube uses a Blockchain-mechanism (Steem) and basicly just shows decentralized videos uploaded via ipfs.. anyway platforms like these have a big disadvantage because they use blockchains to store actions and content. You can not really delete anything or undo it. Of course this can be an advantage too but considering how dangerous social media can be, it's quite risky to put out content with that kind of lifespan.
Other thoughts to this site/protocol in general: You can login via email without entering long secret keys like on SteemIt or DTube which is quite nice to use. But the problem I see is that you authenticate via Email only… no password or anything. There is 2-factor-authentication but that's not a proper password. Also… the website works without password and I don't enter any private key to use it, so I can basicly assume that the website however gets my private key to the webclient without any proper encryption. This system seems really dangerously broken… where are the private keys even stored? Every identity on this site isn't verified at all if lbry.tv or any other client can get your private key that easily.
Why doesn't use anyone PGP to sign into their service? It would allow proper authentication… what's the matter of a blockchain if you can't authenticate?
I would recommend DTube over LBRY at the moment. Maybe they fix this somehow but it seems like a systematic fault. A decentralized system should never store your private key, especially if it's not encrypted.
Doesn't IvanTheTroll use that?
hmm, the first video proposed on lbry.tv is "men eat live mice". maybe a bit to nerdy for me.
i like your attitude and just the way you explain all the stuff, but you've taken my channel name đ
wow really thankful, now we just need a new search engine that actually shows what we search for.
